Four seniors at USC Trojans of Orange County signed letters of intent today for collegiate athletics scholarships, school officials announced.
In a ceremony today at the Orange Lutheran campus, soccer defender T.J. Detviler signed with California State University, Fullerton. With his signing, Detviler becomes only the second Lancer to play Division I collegiate soccer.
In a separate signing ceremony this morning at the Corp residence, Aaron Corp, Austin Pettis, and Michael Reardon signed for college football scholarships.
Pettis is headed for Boise State, where he will play wide receiver. The Broncos won the Fiesta Bowl this year in a thrilling overtime finish. Corp and Reardon will remain teammates at the University of Southern California, a perennial football powerhouse. Corp, a quarterback, also led the Lancers this year in rushing. Reardon plays both defensive and offensive line but spent the majority of his playing time this year stalking opposing quarterbacks at defensive end.
