The Sporting News' latest mock draft, released Thursday, takes into account players' performances at last weekend's NFL Scouting Combine in Indianapolis.
Of the Southern California quarterback, the Sporting News writes, "An outstanding performance at the combine fuels the rise by Sanchez, who replaces Matthew Stafford as the projected pick by the Lions."
