A Replacement for Sedrick Ellis?
The Trojans added LB Poly DT Jurrell Casey (6' 1", 280 lbs.) to their list of 2008 recruits. That gives the Trojans 17 recruits and it prompted rivals.com to bump the Trojan 2008 recruiting class into the top ten, ahead of #11 UCLA and #10 Texas. If the Trojans land DE Nick Perry from Detroit, this will be an extraordinarily strong class of linemen on both sides of the ball. USC already has verbals from five offensive linemen, including three rated in the top ten nationally, and one of the top three tight ends in the country.
